Safety Achievement Awards

The CAM Safety Achievement awards are presented to CAM member companies, categorized by hours worked  and ranked gold, silver, or bronze, based on maintaining an Experience Modification Rate below 1.0 and reporting recordable injury and illness rates below industry averages. 

To Qualify

Contractors must demonstrate Days Away/Restricted/Transfer Rates (DART) and Recordable Injury and Illness Rates (IR) below 1.5 and 2.3 respectively, while maintaining an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) below 1.0. Click here to calculate your rates. Meet that criteria and you are guaranteed an Honorable Mention certificate. 

You must be a current CAM member to apply.  The 2024 Safety Achievement Award application deadline is February 28, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted. The 2024 application criteria is based upon current statistics available through the Bureau of Labor Statistics for Private Industry (all US) / Construction.
