Safety Achievement Awards

The CAM Safety Achievement awards are presented to CAM member companies, categorized by hours worked  and ranked gold, silver, or bronze, based on maintaining an Experience Modification Rate below 1.0 and reporting recordable injury and illness rates below industry averages. We are pleased to recognize the following companies on their outstanding dedication to promoting safety and health throughout all levels of their respective companies.

To qualify

Contractors must demonstrate Days Away/Restricted/Transfer Rates (DART) and Recordable Injury and Illness Rates (IR) below 1.6 and 2.5 respectively, while maintaining an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) below 1.0. Click here to calculate your rates. Meet that criteria and you are guaranteed an Honorable Mention certificate. 

You must be a current CAM member to apply.  The 2021 Safety Achievement Award application deadline is February 25, 2022. Late applications will not be accepted. The 2021 application criteria is based upon current statistics available through the Bureau of Labor Statistics for Private Industry (all US) / Construction.
