With 18 years of experience at MIOSHA, including serving as Health Supervisor for the Construction Safety and Health Division, Anthony is well-versed in OSHA enforcement, compliance, and litigation. He has also taught graduate-level courses on occupational safety and health at Wayne State University.

Effective Workers’ Compensation Claims Management & Return-to-Work Strategies
Carl Granger is the Director of Safety & Compliance at Woods Construction & Interiors in Sterling Heights, Michigan and has worked in the Safety and Human Resources profession for 28 years. Carl maintains the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Safety Management Professional (SMP) professional designations. Carl is the past President of both the Greater Detroit and Mid-Michigan American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Chapters, and he continues to serve as the Nominating/Auditing Chair for the Mid-Michigan Chapter and the By-Laws Chair for the Greater Detroit Chapter. Carl also serves as the former Board Chair for the Construction Association of Michigan Safety and Steering Committees. He also serves as a Board Member for the Michigan Safety Conference (MSC), as well as acting as the MSC Division Chair for the Industrial Division and assisting on the Fund Development Committee. Carl is active on the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Michigan Human Resources Workgroup. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University in Philosophy.

Jason is an authorized OSHA Outreach Training Instructor and formally was a Senior Construction Safety Consultant for MIOSHA’s Consultation Education& Safety Division. He spent several years as the Director of Education at Safety at the Construction Association of Michigan. Jason has been a resource for construction safety professionals across Michigan for over 14 years.
Koz and his wife Clare are the owners of Archangel Safety LLC and a proud veteran, father of 10, and grandfather of 4. With 20 years of safety experience, he is recognized for delivering dynamic, engaging OSHA and MIOSHA training that makes safety both effective and enjoyable. He has a proven track record of certifying workers and guiding leadership teams, helping construction companies improve compliance, reduce incidents, and build stronger safety cultures. In addition to his construction expertise, he brings experience in public safety training, adding depth in leadership and crisis response.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Ndana has experience in several areas, including environment health and safety (EHS), project management and Lean manufacturing. Currently he works for a global company specialized in steel manufacturing as a Sr Corporate EHS Director. Ndana has published a myriad of peer-reviewed articles and presented at multiple safety conferences in the US and around the world. Bilingual in English and French, Ndana was named the 2017 Safety Professional of the Year by J.J. Keller & Associate, Inc. and received the 2018 ASSP Management Innovation Award.
Member of ASSP’s Greater Detroit Chapter, Ndana is also a consultant. In this role, he advises senior leaders around the globe on how to leverage their roles to improve safety performance and also offers tailor-made and flexible solutions that help organizations achieve aggressive EHS goals.

Tracy began her career in construction as a crane operator with Operating Engineers Local 324. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive safety knowledge and expertise in both the Construction and General Industries. Her dedication to professional growth led her to successfully earn the CHST (Certified Health & Safety Technician) and CIT (Certified Instructional Trainer) certifications from the respected Board of Certified Safety Professionals. She currently serves as a Loss Control Consultant for organizations that belong to the CAMComp Workers' Compensation Plan. She conducts site visits, plan reviews, and training in various topics, including First Aid, CPR, AED.

Kristin Osterkamp is the On-Site Consultation Program Manager within MIOSHA’s Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division. In this role, Kristin manages and directs the On-Site Consultation Program activities, through first-line safety and health supervisors, as well as Cooperative Programs Specialists, responsible for MIOSHA’s Alliances, Partnerships, and MVPP programs.
Kristin is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), with over 28 years of experience in the occupational safety and health industry.
Kristin has a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus in Industrial Hygiene, from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and a B.S. degree in Chemistry/Business from Elmhurst College in Illinois.

Ian Perry has volunteered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since 2007, serving in roles such as co-chair of the Metro Detroit Out of the Darkness Walk, Board Member, Silver Committee Chair, and now as a National Policy Council Member, representing veterans and the construction industry. A 14-year Marine Corps combat veteran with deployments to Somalia, the Persian Gulf, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Ian is passionate about supporting veterans in crisis and building connections with veteran groups, first responders, and military organizations across Michigan. In his professional life, Ian is a superintendent with Sachse Construction.

Karly St. Aubin is a Lead Safety Specialist with more than six years of experience supporting Commercial Operations and Research & Development. In her role, she provides regional safety leadership across service centers, retail spaces, remanufacturing, and warehouses. Her expertise includes safety culture change, project management, training, and communication at every level of an organization.
She holds multiple professional credentials, including Graduate Safety Practitioner, ANSI B11 Licensed Machinery Safety Specialist, Radiation Safety Officer, and Class A/B Underground Storage Operator. Karly earned both her Master of Science in Safety Management and her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Safety from Oakland University, graduating summa cum laude with departmental honors.

After graduating with a Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan University in Environmental Health and Safety, Dominic immediately got to work as an EH&S Professional working for companies such as DTE, General Motors, and HydroCorp. He founded Shepherd Safety Consulting and serves as a consultant to various companies throughout Michigan.

Tim Welsh is an OSHA compliance professional with experience overseeing safety compliance on construction projects. He currently serves as the Director of Risk Management at Progressive Mechanical, Inc. Under his direction, Progressive Mechanical has received several safety awards, including a Certificate of Commendation from Associated General Contractors and Honorable Mention Safety Achievement Award from the Construction Association of Michigan. Tim previously served as the Senior Regional Safety Manager at Barton Malow Company and Northgate Packaging Company.

Dr. Kenneth L. Wolf consults on Workplace Violence Prevention, Active Shooter Survival, Threat Assessment, Crisis Management and Verbal De-Escalation. He is the CEO of the Incident Management Team with affiliates worldwide.
