Hands-On Career Exploration Awaits at JUST BUILD IT! Expo
For over 25 years, the JUST BUILD IT! Construction Career Expo has inspired Michigan’s youth to explore careers in the commercial construction industry. This year’s event takes place on Tuesday, October 7th, from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds. Hosted by the Washtenaw Contractors Association and WCA Foundation, the event draws over 1,600 students annually to explore skilled trades, see live demos from architects and engineers, and connect with industry pros.
Contractors and trades are invited to an outreach event for the Pontiac Parking Decks Project on Wednesday, October 15th, at 51111 Woodward Ave., Pontiac. The session will highlight inclusion goals, the preconstruction process, and upcoming bid opportunities in trades such as masonry, roofing, HVAC, concrete, steel, and more.
